Self Care! While that sometimes means eating the entire wheel of brie while falling asleep to The Mindy Project, some lucky days it sends me into a wormhole of stealing happy-hippie health-care tips via Mum.... Maybe one day I'll put down the Malbec and go on a hike too!
1. Cayenne pepper:
eat it! but also, make a nice lil foot bath and add a teaspoon-ish for some zaz to your pigs!
(helps with... blood flow! reducing cholesterol! improving digestion! reducing infection!)
2. Apple cider vinegar:
... basically reverse the effects of alcoholism!
(good for nausea, sore throat, stuffy nose, exhaustion, hiccups)
3. Tea:
Be the Queen.
(full of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants, prevents tooth decay, builds stronger bones, and can obvi prevent aging!!)
4. Incense:
no more weird smell! except if you're into patchouli... my suggestion is "pine"
(clear and calm the mind, relax the body, smell like forest)
5. Yoga:
leave the house!
(relaxes the mind, improves the physique, encourages mental and physical balance which can help with creativity and positive thinking??!)
6. Reading:
hopefully can slow you tf down and reduce your stress, improve your memory, and maybe you'll get better writing skills and generally not be (such) an idiot
7. Dr. Bronner's Magic Soap:
I LOOOVE the peppermint one. Makes you F E E L F R E S H! even when on the inside are probably rotten)
(multi-purpose organic liquid soap, also works as a shampoo(?))
also.... DRINK WATER!
